Basketball Wives of Miami Season Three Finale

Season Three -It's A Wrap
Season Three of VH1's Basketball Wives came to an end this past Monday and it left me feeling somewhat bored with this franchise. While much of the season had been filled with several entertaining rounds of "he said/she said", this Basketball Wives fan was left a bit disappointed with Jennifer's divorce party wrap-up and drink in the face cliche honored by Jennifer's soon-to-be ex-husband. Here's hoping for a entertaining reunion show!
However, I won't get too far ahead of myself. Let's take a look back at the craziness that was season three. Season three allowed for the return of the cast that we had grown to know.
Tammi and Evelyn resumed their fued over the insulting "Non-Mother%# Factor" phrase cleverly coined by Evelyn at the tail-end of season two. Shaunie continued her role as mediator, Susie continued to spill the beans about things she probably should have kept to herself and Royce and Jennifer agreed to disagree about what they were really fighting about this season. Oh yes, and Jennifer and Evelyn actually had a blow-up.
Of course, there was new blood introduced to keep things fresh. Enter Meeka Claxton, a woman who clearly was not aware that she simply needed to have been seen and not heard so early in the game. She was never a member of the coveted circle and her gregarious nature only served to dig a deep hole for her, making her appear to be a woman with bad intentions and inflated gossip.
Thank goodness for the entertainment that was Tammi. While some deemed Tammi as a trouble-maker and drama queen, others considered her to be the entertainment and true reality star of the show. Tammi's "Keeping It Real" tone helped to make the season.
So what's left for this group of women? There's not a basketball wife or girlfriend left at this stage. It would seem that VH1 will be moving away from this group given the set of circumstances, but we'll see what the reunion holds.
Basketball Wives of LA is on the horizon folks! I'm interested to see if we actually have "married" wives of basketball players on this show. The blogs have indicated that its a mix of fiances and actual wives. Stay tuned...
